Vitamins for the skin in autumn
In autumn, we usually replace light skincare products used in summer with slightly more concentrated and nourishing ones. We are looking for creams and masks that will allow the skin to regenerate after the summer, but also prepare for the winter. They should protect against wind, cold and dryness. The addition of vitamins C, A, E, biotin and zinc works well in this role. Where to look for them and what effect do they have on our skin in autumn?
Also called retinol, vitamin A has a strong anti-wrinkle effect. It is worth to include it in the care after thirty years of age, but also younger people will benefit from the use of vitamin A in the cold season. Retinol regenerates and nourishes the skin, restores its nice appearance and radiance.
It is a great antioxidant that delays the aging process. Thanks to the addition of ascorbic acid, cosmetics rejuvenate and smooth the skin surface. Vitamin C should be taken from the inside (in food, juices, dietary supplements) as well as from the outside, in cosmetics. It is worth to reach for a serum with vitamin C in the treatment of acne lesions and traces. This substance can make them shallower and brighter, thanks to which they become much less visible after just a month of application of the preparation. Ascorbic acid can also be helpful in removing the effects of excessive sunbathing in summer.
Vitamin E is the second substance that works well in rejuvenating and nourishing the skin. Similarly to vitamin C, it effectively eliminates dryness, delays aging processes and creates a protective layer on the skin against adverse weather conditions. Autumn creams containing vitamin E are perfect for people with aging, dry, delicate skin. It also contains many hand creams.
Zinc and biotin
Zinc and biotin are also valuable ingredients in the autumn beautician. Zinc effectively strengthens nails and skin, and also helps to alleviate inflammation, restore beneficial pH and cleanse the skin of toxic substances. Zinc-containing face cream is a great remedy for irritation. It narrows the pores and leaves them thoroughly cleansed, it also prevents the spread of skin lesions. Biotin, on the other hand, is an important ingredient strengthening the skin and hair - it also helps to keep the nails in good condition. It is worth to bet on shampoos and conditioners with biotin content, as well as to buy a moisturizing cream. Biotin prevents the skin from drying out, which threatens us especially in the autumn-winter season. When there is a strong wind and a pinch of the first frost, it is not difficult to worsen the condition of the skin.
